I hate that there are certain movies I love, but I can’t watch, because if I do it automatically makes me feel like a pretentious douchebag cause of all the other people that watch said movie and build their entire lives around being obsessed with a movie. Just hearing about it nonstop makes me tired of it.
i.e. Donnie Darko, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fight Club, etc.
It’s cool that those movies are popular, I just hate when things become cult classics. ‘Cause then they’re almost just annoying.
