I used a Pokemon game-glitching technique called “tweaking” to snag a Darkrai on Pokemon Pearl without having had the event or regular in-game capacity to get him. That’s a flashlight holding down left (or up, depending on what point in the process this was) to run 65000 steps. It took about 6 hours total to succeed. I may have gotten a little lost..
